Implementation Science- The bridge between academia and practicum
Keywords:
Implementation, Bridge, Academia, PracticumAbstract
There has been a huge disconnect between the academic and practical applications of research. Oftentimes, models which are efficacious in laboratories do not have any practical significance on the ground. Even after spending humungous amounts of resources, it has been observed that these experiments do not achieve their intended purpose. The spectrum of challenges faced in this area has been dealt with by an emerging field that attempts to bridge this dividing gap and it is called Implementation Science.
